The nature of our work means that we often work in hazardous & dangerous locations… The safety, health and welfare of our employees is our No. 1 priority and as a result, we take Health & Safety very seriously. We pay special attention to refresher and ongoing ‘up-skill’ training to ensure our operatives have all the skills they need to carry out the task safely.

Electrical

We are NICEIC approved electrical contractors specialising in electrical distribution systems, generators, motor control and telemetry.

Confined Spaces & Hazardous Area Working

A ‘confined space’ is described as “any place, including any chamber, tank, vat, silo, pit, trench, pipe, sewer, flue, well, or other similar space in which, by virtue of its enclosed nature, there arises a reasonably foreseeable specified risk”… This is the definition given within the Confined Spaces Regulations and the definition of ‘foreseeable risk’ can often be difficult for the layman to interpret correctly. REM Pumping are the experts in carrying out inspections and works within Confined Spaces. Experienced Confined Spaces & qualified BA (breathing apparatus) teams available, providing you with total security and peace of mind.

ATEX-approved motors

We are authorised repairer of ATEX-approved motors, pumps and fans for hazardous (explosive) areas. We also have Comp-Ex (Oil & Gas) trained engineers available and can advise on hazardous area installations where necessary.

Working at Heights

Our engineers hold valid IPAF licences to work with mobile elevated work platforms (MEWPs) and ‘cherry pickers’…

Working at height therefore poses no problems… We are specialists in providing lighting column & high bay lighting services
